Ladina Dougherty
Associate Counselor | Assistant Pastor Youth Pastor | Neurofeedback Lead
Hello! My name is Ladina Dougherty
I live in Salem, Oregon with my husband Ryan, our three amazing kids, two dogs, one cat, and a bearded dragon. Life is full and rich—and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
I currently serve as both Assistant Pastor and Youth Pastor at Free Church in Salem, where I’ve been in full-time ministry for over 15 years. My heart has always been drawn to walking alongside people through seasons of healing, growth, and faith.
In May 2025, I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Grand Canyon University and am now practicing as an Associate in Counseling. I also lead our BrainPaint® Neurofeedback program and am certified in its use as part of the therapeutic process. This allows me to integrate brain-based technology with traditional talk therapy, offering a unique and holistic approach to healing.
My counseling style blends clinical insight with spiritual care, grounded in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I work at each client’s pace, creating a compassionate and supportive space where individuals can safely explore challenges, build resilience, and move toward lasting transformation.
Whether in the church, the counseling room, or through neurofeedback, my goal is the same: to support others with empathy, wisdom, and faith.
