Krista Cashatt
Student Counselor
Hello, my name is Krista Cashatt.
I’m a mental health therapist intern currently working toward my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with the goal of becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
I believe deeply in each person’s ability to grow, heal, and transform. My passion lies in helping people navigate life’s challenges while creating meaningful, values-driven lives.
Under clinical supervision, I take an integrative approach to therapy, blending behavioral, existential, and mindfulness-based practices. I’m also certified in Gottman Level 1, which supports my work with couples and relationship dynamics. I love helping clients explore who they’ve been, who they are, and who they want to become—fostering greater self-understanding, well-being, and fulfillment.
Outside the therapy room, I find peace and joy in the outdoors, where I share life with three dogs, two horses, and six chickens. Nature keeps me grounded and reminds me of the same growth and renewal I strive to support in others.
