Hello! My name is Kaylene Henderson.

I am currently completing my doctoral studies at Liberty University. With more than forty years of lived experience in systems of care and mental health counseling, I bring a deeply personal and professional perspective to my work—especially through my journey raising foster and adopted children.

My passion lies in equipping and supporting foster and adoptive families as they navigate their mental health journeys. By blending personal experience with academic knowledge, I’ve developed a unique, integrative approach that both honors lived reality and challenges the limits of traditional treatment models.

Rooted in my spiritual faith, my work is an extension of my calling—whether I'm nurturing growth in my backyard garden or offering care and compassion in my office. In all I do, I strive to create spaces of healing, hope, and heart.
